At Pregvita, safety and transparency are our top priorities. In November 2019, some lots of PregVit® and PregVit® Folic 5 were voluntarily recalled due to a packaging issue.
What Was the Issue?
Some blister packs were found to contain only pink tablets (morning dose), with no blue tablets (evening dose). This meant users could miss out on essential nutrients like folic acid and calcium — both crucial for a healthy pregnancy.
How to Identify Affected Packs
Each pack should include:
- 15 pink tablets (iron, magnesium, zinc, B-vitamins)
- 15 blue tablets (folic acid, calcium, vitamin D3, B12)
If your pack contains only pink tablets, stop using it and consult your pharmacist immediately.
Important Notes
- The ingredients themselves were safe — the issue was with packaging only.
- The recall was a precautionary measure to protect your health and your baby’s development.
If you ever have questions about the safety or proper use of PregVit®, we’re here to help. Always check your packaging and feel free to reach out to your healthcare provider or pharmacist with any concerns.
Your health matters — and so does your peace of mind.
